In the normal circumstances, if the parties to the contract are Indian Parties, any dispute arises out of the contractual agreement will be subjected to Arbitration under the Indian Laws under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 as amended. But the Indian parties can choose a foreign seat of arbitration as well. In that case, the award which emanates from the arbitration is treated as Foreign Award.
